'We're just kind of engaged': Zayn Malik reveals he and fiancée Perrie Edwards have not started planning their wedding

Despite getting engaged in August 2013, Zayn Malik has revealed that there will not be a wedding with fiancée Perrie Edwards.
During an interview on BBC Breakfast alongside his One Direction bandmates on Monday, Malik told how he and Edwards have not had the time to sit down and begin planning for their big day.
The 21-year-old said when asked about the upcoming nuptials: 'I haven't really thought about getting married yet, we're just kind of engaged'.

No doubt much to the delight of some One Direction fans, Zayn continued: 'We haven't really thought about the wedding side of things or how we're gonna do that.

'We haven't really had any time to sit and organise that.'
Dispelling rumours which have been reported about the big day, Harry Styles joked: 'They did if for the presents, how many times do I have to tell everyone?'

With no date or venue in place, it also came as no surprise when Malik admitted that he had not yet chosen who out of the chart-topping boyband will be his best man.
He asserted: 'I think it will be quite hard to pick just one.'
Chiming in, Louis Tomlinson quipped: 'It's a bit awkward then isn't it? As long as we're invited.'
The couple, who both found fame on The X Factor, began dating back in 2011 after meeting on the set of the ITV show while Edwards was taking part in the compete as one fourth of Little Mix.
In July of this year Zayn hit back at claims he and Perrie had headed down the aisle after he posted an image of himself wearing what appeared to be wedding band.
A spokesman for the singer told MailOnline: 'Perrie and Zayn are not married. The picture shows his engagement ring.'
