Never mind the Grammys,
the real grand gowns were found at a festival. This year’s edition of
the annual Berlinale International Film Festival proved to be a prime
spot for epic red carpet moments, from Elizabeth Banks appearing in a
jaw-dropping Elie Saab creation to Natalie Portman rolling out a handful
of polished looks. The NAACP Image Awards were another great place for
witnessing eye-catching dresses. Embroidery, embellishments and lace all
made notable appearances this week, as both bright colors and crisp
neutrals shared equal time in the spotlight.
