Zayn Malik’s sister Doniya has branded some 1D fans “psychotic” and
admitted she has not listened to all the songs on the new album.
University
student Doniya, who has close to half a million Twitter followers
thanks to her brother’s fame, took to video app Live Lens to talk to
fans and hand out free concert tickets to a lucky winner.
After
being asked by a fan if she enjoyed the attention of the “Directioners”
she replied: “Yes sometimes you are very sweet, then sometimes you can
get the psychotic and ones I don’t like that, but apart from that you
are all very sweet.”
Psychology student Doniya was speaking from
the bedroom of the £289,000 detached home bought by Zayn, 21, for his
family in Bradford, west Yorks.

And she appeared to put the boot into her home city after one fan told her she had been in Bradford recently and “loved it”.
Doniya, 23, replied: “That’s good because I don’t. It’s f****** boring.”
Another fan asked if she was enjoying the band’s new hit album Four.
She
replied: “Yes, I like it so far. I if I am honest I have not had chance
to listen to all the songs so far but I will once I get the chance.”
And
another fan asked her if she could sing like her famous brother, to
which she replied: “No I can’t sing, if I could I wouldn’t be sat in my
bed right now I’d on X Factor with Zayn.”
Before signing off after
the 30 minute video chat Doniya asked how often she spoke to her famous
sibling, who is currently in Australia with the rest of the boy band.
She told fans: “When he is free. I don’t really count. He’s so busy.”
Doniya's
comment comes after it emerged her brother and bandmate Harry Styles
delayed a flight to Oz after the band's win at the American Music Awards
last week.

Zayn has had a difficult few weeks
Niall Horan spilled the beans on why the two boys flew in to Australia a day after the rest of the band.
During
an interview with Kyle And Jackie O which aired on Kiis FM on Thursday,
the 21-year-old star revealed Zayn and Harry wanted to host a party in
Los Angeles to celebrate before heading to Oz.
He said: "What
happened there was, we'd just won three American Music Awards, and some
people wanted to get straight to Australia and Harry here wanted to have
a little party in Los Angeles."
Styles nodded and added: "I also
didn't feel very well so I didn't want to fly. I wanted to wait out the
storm to fly. My ear hurts."
